A typical day

Upon arrival , our guests are greeted with cool refreshing glass of homemade ‘Sharbat’ (Juice). Once you settle in, your day typically begins with some yoga and meditation with the rising sun. If you aren’t an early riser, you could just wake up , take a walk dream the stream or a stroll in the farm and then gather for breakfast at around 8:30 am.
How you want to spend you daytime is upto you, There is ample space for outdoor activities and games. You could go swim in the river, relax yourself on the hammocks, get a fish pedicure, play board games and puzzles or just find a cozy corner and finish the book that you brought along. Lunch gets served at 1 pm in the dining area, where all guest’s sit down together for the meal.
Well, we all love tea and we would love to sit down and share stories over some chai at any time of the day. You can also plan a day of outing. Go trekking or bird watching, visit some farms nearby or explore the whole stretch of frmlands of Atithi Parinay. You could also go enjoy the beaches, temples and forts in and around Ratnagiri and Ganpatipule.
Dinner is generally served by 8 pm. Nights at Atithi Parinay are peaceful. Sit down under the stars with your loved ones and end your day with a night stroll or hike.

Ratnadurga Fort : 15 kms from Atithi Parinay, Located on the sea shore of Ratnagiri and spread across an area of about 120 acres, the fort is horseshoe shaped. Surrounded by sea on three sides part of the cliff is now a cave. Temple inside the fort called the "Bhagwati Mandir" which is dedicated to the Goddess Bhagwati.
15 kms from Atithi Parinay , The lighthouse was established in 1867 and is one of the structure in Ratnagiri. It is a breathtaking view from the top of the lighthouse with Mandvi and Bhate beach on one side and Ratnadurg / Bhagwati temple on the other. Jaigad beach and light house is 35 kms from Atithi Parinay.

Atithi Parinay is also home to various other living creatures. Most common are birds. This place is a natural habitat for various migratory birds which are often spotted in the vicinity. So if one is lucky, you too could spot some rare ones. Have a look what on of our guest’s Rudraksha spotted.

Temples

15 kms from Atithi Parinay , An ancient pilgrim center, it is located about 12 kms from Kotawade. Its coastline is abundant with scenic greenery. Head out to see the mysterious Swayambhoo (A naturally formed idol) of Lord Ganesh.
Karhateshwar Temple : 35 kms from Atithi Parinay The temple is of wooden structure, built during the regime of Shilaharas. Jai ganesh temple is also on the way. Kunakeshwar, surya mandir, Hedavi Velneshwar are also accessible in a day.

Food

When it comes to food , this region had variety of cuisine. Other than Fish there are many more verieties of veterian food, which has not been promoted. At atithi Parinay we promote and celebrate vegterian food we serve core authentic vegetarian food prepared fresh from organic ingredients straight from our farm or from nearby villages.
There are many misunderstanding about food in konkan. Konkan food means “malvani” food is one of them. There are Bamhini, Bhandari, Gomantaki food also prepared and its very different and from ‘Malvani.
